This could be a problem in summer maybe so it might be better to get a room looking away from the square if you are a light sleeper. The room was really spacious and very comfortable. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room but we took a travel kettle with us - but I expect this is maybe an english thing. It would also have been nice to have some english channels on the tv but as we were only there a couple of days and werent in the room very much this wasnt a major problem.

Breakfast was fabulous - lots of choice and the tables very spaced out. The staff on reception were very efficient and friendly. We got the bus L30 from the airport which takes about 35 minutes and drops you in the centre, not at the bus station, and costs just over 1 euro person so very cheap, it runs every 35 minutes. One point to note, there are signs for the hotel from where the bus terminates but these are for people in cars so it takes you the long way round navigating the one way system.

Once we got our bearings we realised that the hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop and its easier to cut through the side streets. The rooms are comfortable and practical and despite being in a central area it is well insulated from noise. The breakfast can be of English or European type with enough variety. Excellent 10 Reviews. We booked into this hotel as we had a late arrival flight from the UK. The car park is a bit of a challenge and there is a short walk to the hotel but it is worthwhile. We arrived about 10pm and ordered a plate of ham and cheese and beer. It was excellent as was the waiter.

Torreluz Aparthotel. I stayed for just 2 nights here, on an all too brief visit to Almeria. To get the keys to the apartment, you have to go to the reception at the Torreluz hotel immediately opposite.

A very friendly welcome awaited me there. My apartment was on the 8th floor, and gave me amazing views over the city, including the castle walls. I'm pleased that there was a lift though! The apartment itself was very spacious, and very clean and well-maintained. Free wifi, air conditioning, and 2 televisions one in the bedroom made this a very comfortable place to stay. A small cooking area, with hot plates, microwave and fridge proved very useful, with several supermarkets close by.
